Sneaky Pickups over the All-Star Break

By Joe Castro –

My last article gave you some gems and if you were able to add them to your roster, they are paying out dividends! As we enter the half way point of the season, many leagues begin their fantasy playoffs shortly after the All-Star Break. Some of these guys have benefited by recent trades too.

Here is a list of guys you should grab now, to help you make a push into the Playoffs:

Nikola Vucevic – Vucevic was having himself a nice year before breaking his hand back in December. With that hand nearly healed, and him being cleared for full contact this week, he needs to be owned in ALL leagues because of his potential of being Top 10 at the Center position.

Paul Milsap – Another player who was injured early and who is nearing a return in April is Milsap. He has been down this year from his usual output, and he does have some competition with Lyles and Plumlee, who have both played well in his absence. But his talent is too good to ignore, and he needs to be picked up now if you have the roster space.

Dejounte Murray – Since taking over for Parker in the starting lineup, Murray has shown that he might not give up that starter role any time soon. He has been a great source of scoring and rebounding, and could be a nice piece for the rest of the season.

Danilo Gallinari – Gallinari is back from injury and making people forget about Griffin leaving town. Since coming back, he looks to be a top option for scoring and should see 30+ minutes every night. He excelled in Denver, and could be a nice pick up the rest of the way. He is owned not enough in leagues.

Elfrid Payton –  Many people thought Payton was done this year when he was only getting around 22 minutes in Orlando. Many more thought he would do even worse once traded to Phoenix. But, since the trade, Payton has been crushing it, and even with Booker coming back, he put a triple double in his first game playing alongside the young talent.

Larry Nance Jr – He is buried on the depth chart, for now. He is the best replacement for Love, who might not even be back before the playoffs. Follow this link to know about works air blower reviews. Nance can give you double digit production, even with limited minutes.

Tomas Satoransky – Since Wall went down, Satoransky has quietly put together some nice games, and he is eligible for 2 positions! He is getting starter minutes, and is a good source of assists, steals and points.

Michael Beasley – Once the Knicks lost Porzingis, Beasley became a starter and their top scoring option. Who kows if the Knicks will go into “tank mode” and try to get some younger guys playing time? But in the meantime, Beasley is a great source of scoring and rebounds.

Reggie Jackson – Jackson wasn’t himself last year and the beginning of this year, mainly because I think the Pistons asked him to do too much. With Griffin now on the team, he doesn’t have to be the leading scorer and has a nice option for some easy assists. He will be back from injury soon and could return as a nice option down the stretch.

Josh Jackson – Another Jackson is peaking my interest, and with the Suns wanting to play their youth movement, Jackson should see a ton of minutes the rest of the year. He is great option in multiple categories and could lead teams to a fantasy title!
